Supreme Basmati Rice Cooking Instructions

1. SOAK SHAHZADA RICE: Soak the rice in water for 45 minutes (optional). Then drain the rice and rinse.

2. ADD WATER: For every one part of measured rice, add two parts of water to the pot. Ensure that it is a wide pot to allow adequate room for the rice to boil.

3. ADD SALT AND OIL: Add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of butter/ oil to the water.

4. BOIL: Cover the pot and boil the rice for 7 – 8 minutes on medium heat.

5. SIMMER: Stir, add the lid back on, and simmer the rice on low heat for 2 – 3 minutes.

6. SERVE AND ENJOY! Hope you have a pleasant meal.
